An analysis conducted by BACKLINKO and consisting of nearly 12 million Google search results, found that the #1 organic result in Google has an average of 3.8x more backlinks than positions #2-#10.
There are three primary areas on your website where you can build links:
- Your home page.
- Your sales pages (such as your practice area pages).
- Other content pages.
However, it’s typically more challenging to acquire links to pages directly aimed at generating revenue. Many people dislike overt marketing tactics, making it easier to obtain links to informational content, tools, or other useful resources.
If an opportunity arises to secure a link to one of your practice area specific pages such as Car Accident page or Truck Accident page, it’s advisable to seize it. Otherwise, prioritize building links to your content-rich pages.
